Yes! $10,000! Who doesn’t want to make more money and also flex their entrepreneurial skills to do it! I know you do! Even if you’re a beginner in business, you can do this. It doesn’t have to be complicated! What would you do with an extra $10k? Think about that for a moment and then let it motivate you as you figure out a way!
Ok, let’s freaking go and break this down! Let’s say you want to make an extra $10,000 a year. This is a very reasonable amount and pretty easy to do, even for a beginner. In order to do this, you need to first figure out your offer(s), and second your pricing. We are going to set this up so you are making AT LEAST 10k extra dollars per year (but with the hope of more, right?!). This works for both client based work or for product based sales.
How to Make $10,000 a Year

- 20 clients/month @ $42
- 15 clients/month @ $55
- 10 clients/month @ $83
- 6 clients/month @ $139
- 3 clients/month @ $278
- 1 client/month @ $833
So per month, in order to make $10k in a year, you’d need this many clients to use your services or you need to sell your products at those numbers. Make sense?
Also, it’s important to note that you can mix and match! If you’re able to get 3 clients/month at $278 – awesome! But let’s say you get one client at $278 a month. With additional offers at other prices you can make up the rest!
It comes down to this… Can you get 5 people to pay $2000 over the course of a year? Or approximately $166/month? Absolutely you can. Think of ways that you can add value to people’s lives. Add value, add value, add value. It can literally be so simple.
Ways to Add Value to People’s Lives
A few ideas…
- Paint 4 rooms for someone in their house that they’ve been wanting to paint forever.
- Scan someone’s old photo prints into a computer and organize them on a hard drive! Do you know how many people are dying to have digital copies of their photos but just don’t have the time??
- You’re going to do someone’s laundry for $50/week. Think of how many people would loooove this service. They are getting away with murder if they get you for that price.
- Find 10 houses to clean.
Then guess what happens? You do a phenomenal job and got referred! Those referrals are KEY to this. Your clients referred you to someone, who referred you to someone else, who referred you to someone else. HECK YES! You WAY exceeded your $10,000 goal and you only needed a few people you know to make this happen!!!! You got scrappy, creative, and flexed your entrepreneurial muscles! Way to hustle! Maybe your first jobs aren’t exactly a reflection of your end goal in business. That is ok! By finding ways to make this extra money, you’ll be able to invest it into the life of your dreams and business of your dreams. We alllll have to start somewhere in entrepreneurship. And if you actually do this and go for it – you’ll be doing something that most people are way too scared to do. Feel proud of that!
You just gotta put yourself out there!! I know you can make it in your sleep! Start by serving ONE person in a high ticket way that solves a problem for them and see what happens. I DARE YOU!
